Statement:

"I am interested in the notion of a journey, both as a physical movement in space, and as a movement of thoughts: through time and places, through memories, disciplinary boundaries, human/non-human relationships; realities lived and those imagined. I see photographic image as a place for encounters between inner and outer states of being, between what is known and what is unknown; a crossing zone for the familiar and 'the Unheimlich'.

I create installations comprising of photography, objects, texts, video and drawings. In development of works I follow circulations of knowledge, things, narratives and information flows. In my artistic research I am interested in exploring the potential and limits of subjective documentary practice. I often take inspiration from fleeting and liminal phenomena, from crossing borders, from pilgrimages and wanderings, both: geo-physical, and across the wide and wild areas of human knowledge."
